Miracle-Gro® Moisture Control® Potting Mix is the perfect solution for protecting your plants from over and under watering. This gardening product features the exclusive AquaCoir® Formula, which absorbs up to 33% more water than basic potting soil that does not contain sphagnum peat moss, coir, and wetting agents.

The Miracle-Gro® Moisture Control® Potting Mix feeds plants for up to 6 months and Grows Plants Twice As Big!®* compared to unfed plants. This makes it an excellent choice for all types of outdoor container plants, including flowers, shrubs, vegetables, annuals, and perennials.

To use this potting mix, simply fill a container with a drain hole about 1/3 full. Loosen the root ball of your plant and place it in the pot, then cover with more potting mix and press lightly. Water the plant and let it drain, and be sure to let the mix dry to the touch between waterings. To maintain healthy growth, container plants should be repotted annually to avoid soil compaction and replenish nutrients.

One 8 qt. bag of Miracle-Gro® Moisture Control® Potting Mix can fill two 8-inch containers, though the exact amount may vary depending on the size of the root ball. It is recommended to wear gardening gloves when using this or any other planting materials.
